About Scholar & A Dream
What We Envision
Scholar & A Dream envisions a community that prioritizes the importance of educational attainment. One that takes necessary steps to ensure that positive educational outcomes are accessible to all students, regardless of socioeconomic circumstances. We aim to close the achievement gap by ensuring that postsecondary education is a viable option, giving students the potential to succeed.
Who We Are
Scholar & A Dream is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated towards enhancing the lives of students of color through career development, scholarship, and college retention.
Our Impact
Scholar and a Dream will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to selected NYC high school applicants who will be graduating from the 2022 class. In addition to the financial award, scholarship recipients will also receive the services below:
