Afifa Tanisa
Afifa is currently attending Columbia University, and majoring in Applied Mathematics, with a strong interest in Data Science. Afifa plans to leverage her accrued knowledge and resources towards formulating innovative technological solutions aimed to alleviate some of the daily hurdles within her community.
Ellean MaCarthy
Ellean is currently attending Wells College and majoring in Health Science with a double minor in Holistic Health Studies and Healthcare Management. Ellean plans to utilize her knowledge and education to play an instrumental role in raising health awareness through community outreach, health campaigns, and workshops. Her primary objective is to empower individuals within her community to make informed choices about their well-being.
Mackenzie Wong
Mackenzie is currently attending Cornell University, with a major in Finance. Mackenzie believes that exposure to financial literacy at an early age is major key to financial success. As such he plans to leverage his accrued knowledge and expertise to educate young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds about the value of financial literacy. His main goal is to equip his community with the tools to make wise decisions around money.

Isaac Davis
Isaac is currently attending Howard University and has chosen computer engineering as his major. He wants to bring technological resources and knowledge to his community that can improve their overall livelihood.
Daniela Reyes
Daniela is currently attending Lehman College and is majoring in Psychology. She wants to develop a business/clinic where psychologists can help young immigrants that are forced to leave their home country.
Constance Gervois
Constance is currently attending the University of Rochester and is on the pre med / psychology track. One of her goals is to improve the relationship between immigrant patients and healthcare providers.
Canaa Gittens
Canaa is currently attending Pennsylvania state university and is majoring in architectural engineering. She plans to construct functional and state of the art establishments which not only serve the local community but also her country Grenada.
2021 Cohort
Muhfasul Alam
Muhfasul is currently attending the Rochester Institute of Technology and will be pursuing a degree in information technology. Muhfasul aims to lend his knowledge and expertise to solving global issues through innovative technology.
Christian Archer
Christian is currently attending Depauw University with a focus on theater arts. Christian plans to take advantage of his platform as an actor by bringing more attention to the importance of equal representation and expanding diversity in the field of acting overall.
Ilo Elder
Ilo is currently attending Emory University and is on the Pre-Med track. Ilori eventually wants to create her own program “Forward: The Journey of a Lifelong Learner” that will help students understand the value of their own knowledge and cultivate the abilities that will help them unlock their full potential.
Jael Pierre
Jael is currently attending North Carolina A&T and is pursuing business and performing arts. Jael plans to become a therapist for black women in low income communities with hopes to nurture characteristics of confidence, dignity and worthiness that is already within them.
