Project Dream 2024 Application
Scholar and a Dream is a non-profit organization dedicated towards enhancing the lives of
minority students through scholarship, career development and mentorship.
Project Dream is a comprehensive college and career development program designed by Scholar and A Dream Inc., for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) NYC public high school students entering the 11th grade. Our overarching mission is to address and bridge the educational and career achievement gaps by offering students the essential exposure to knowledge, skills, and support required to embark on meaningful post-secondary pathways.
Project Dream Participants will benefit from the following:
Robust career development workshops (including Financial Literacy, College Admissions and FAFSA/ Financial aid, Job/career shadowing, Resume Building etc.)
Networking opportunities
Personalized 1-on-1 mentorships
Monetary scholarships dedicated to advancing post-secondary education. ($4,000 per student upon completion of program, and post-secondary enrollment)
Long-Term support with postsecondary plans.
Eligibility Requirements:

Must be BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color) NYC Public High School
Student. -
Must be entering the 11th Grade in the upcoming academic year.

Plans to enroll in a 2yr or 4yr college, trade school, or technical institute upon high
school graduation. -
Must be available once a month on Wednesdays from 5:30pm - 7:30pm.
